GOD CALLS HIS CHURCH TO DEEP COMPASSION FOR THE POOR &
WE WANT TO ANSWER HIM FOR THE GOOD OF OUR CITIES

The world is not as it should be, and we invite you to come together to change it. There are thousands of people in our local communities who are experiencing significant life challenges: food insecurity, financial crisis, homelessness, incarceration, unexpected pregnancy, injustice, etc. We believe God invites us to join Him in His restorative, transformational work to not only impact the lives of the people around us but to transform us more into His likeness. Join one of our dynamic serving teams to demonstrate the love of Jesus in our community.

Our Under-Resourced Neighbors

Food. Clothing. Debt Relief. Community Restoration. Justice.

We demonstrate the love of Jesus to those lacking key resources in our surrounding communities by partnering with local organizations through direct financial support and volunteer teams that help meet basic needs, restore dignity, and build relationships that lead to human flourishing.

Our Homeless Neighbors

Meals. Mentorship. Transitioning out of Homelessness.

Homelessness is a devastating experience for families. It affects their physical/emotional health, education, and development. We have a variety of teams that demonstrate the love of Jesus to our homeless neighbors by providing hot meals, one-on-one mentoring, life-skills classes, and man-power to move out of homelessness and into transformed spaces.

• Lifespring

• Hesed House Family Overnight Shelter

• Love Your Neighbor

Our Incarcerated Neighbors

Visits. Mentorship. Support. Worship. Bible Studies.

We seek to build relationships with and equip and empower men and women during and after their incarceration. Working through our prison partners in the community, we provide a variety of ministries for the incarcerated, formerly incarcerated, and their families to demonstrate God’s love for them.

• Sheridan Correctional Center

• JUST of DuPage

• New Life Corrections

Our Vulnerable Neighbors

Affirm Life. Foster. Mentor At-Risk Youth. Restore.

Every person is made in the image of God and is of utmost value. We demonstrate the love of Jesus by affirming the lives of the unborn, women facing unexpected pregnancies, and children taken out of their homes. We seek to walk alongside kids in our local schools who are at-risk and women who are in need of restoration following an abortion.

Our Displaced Neighbors

Welcome Kits. Good Neighbor Teams. Host Homes.

There are more people than ever who have been forcibly displaced from their homelands due to war, famine, and religious persecution. These people are desperately seeking refuge in a country or community not their own. Through a local partner organization, our church is being equipped to provide the warmest of biblical hospitality and places of welcome to our new neighbors.
