Leadership

The Compass Church has been blessed by having Jeff Griffin as our Senior Pastor since 2014. Jeff was a pre-med student at Wheaton College before he sensed God redirecting him into pastoral ministry. After graduating from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, Jeff helped start three churches. He married Jennifer (his high school sweetheart) and together they love raising their three children. Jeff has lived in Chicagoland his entire life and is passionate about helping people discover the indescribable joy of doing life in friendship with God.

We are grateful to have Darrell Cloud as our Executive Pastor since 2016. Originally from California, Darrell moved to Chicago to attend and graduate from Moody Bible Institute, where he also met his wife, Laura. They started attending The Compass Church in 1999, and he joined the staff in 2002. In 2008, they moved to Iowa for him to serve as the Executive Pastor of a church there. In 2015, they returned to Chicago and Compass. Darrell serves as a Chief of Staff, leading our Senior Staff.
