Age 2-4

Kim Tomei

CompassKids Age 2-4 Coordinator, Naperville Campus

FUN FACTS ABOUT KIM:

  • Has five kids and first grandchild arrived in January 2024.
  • From a small town with 2,657 people in southern Illinois (or is that Kentucky?) That town just got their first stoplight a few years ago.

Age 2-4 children are full of curiosity. They love exploration and pretending. Our classroom is designed to tap into children’s creativity while planting seeds of faith. We teach the Bible in chronological order to introduce children to God’s big story of redemption. Every lesson is infused with interactive fun using a curriculum based off the Read and Share Bible.

At every service there is time for imaginative play before we come together to sing worship songs and then search for Bible clues found in our Bible story. We end by putting together a small craft that will remind us of the truth we learned.

We always have fun while learning about how much God loves us. We appreciate your trust and the privilege of partnering with you to help your children Find & Follow God.

For your first visit:

  • Be sure to provide your cell phone number when you register your child. This will be our first form of contact if we need to reach you during the worship service. If we cannot reach you via phone, your child’s three-digit code will display on the side screens during service.
  • If your child cries for 10 minutes, you will be notified in the worship service.
  • Separation anxiety can be an issue for the younger age group. Our loving volunteers are trained to help calm and acclimate your child to the room.
  • Safety and Security is our top priority. Be sure to keep the three-digit code sticker that prints with your child’s nametag. You will need this to pick up each of your children.
