Builds life-changing relationships one at a time: One Child. One Hour. One School. One Church. Through Kids Hope, we are providing mentors for at-risk students at Lowell Elementary School in Wheaton.

  • Kids Hope at Lowell Elementary School
    Weekly during school year
    Mentors are needed to work one-on-one with at-risk students at Lowell. Mentors meet with their student over the lunch hour. Serving day is flexible, and training is provided.
  • Homework Club at Lowell Elementary School
    Weekly | 3:15-4:45p
    Volunteers needed to help provide homework help to students (mostly English-learners) from Lowell School. The club meets Tuesdays after school, on school grounds.

A comprehensive residential program offering hope and healing for women who have been victimized by commercial sexual exploitation.

A movement fueled by compassion to keep children safe and families intact. Through Host Families, Family Friends, and Family Coaches, SFC temporarily hosts children and provides a network of support to families in crisis while they get back on their feet.

Provides aftercare services to those who have been imprisoned. Radical Time Out, a ministry of Koinonia House in Wheaton, is a weekly gathering of worship and fellowship for individuals who are affected by incarceration.

    Radical Time Out is a unique opportunity to weekly meet new friends and learn life-changing truths from the Word of God. The audience is usually comprised of individuals who have been impacted by incarceration or individuals who have an interest in prison ministry. This bible study event is a part of the Koinonia House National Ministries. Works collaboratively with the local church to serve the needs of refugees and immigrants.

Has a mission to demonstrate the love and compassion of Jesus Christ by providing material goods free of charge to people in need.
