Foundations of Christian Beliefs

What is it that Christians ought to believe to even be called a Christian? A recent study from LifeWay Research found that 30% of churchgoers don't know the answer to the question, "Was Jesus just a great teacher, or God?" As Christians, we often listen attentively to sermons and learn from the lyrics of worship songs but aren't given the chance to explore the core of what we believe, or how we've come to believe it. Part theology, part history, this class is designed to strengthen our faith through a deep dive into Christian doctrine, where we'll investigate how ordinary Christians benefit from knowing what they believe.

Class meetings will be Sundays before second service at 10a in Room S101 beginning June 30.
