Girls' Night Out

Women of all ages, we invite you to our Fall Girls Night Out Event! We are thrilled to welcome Sylvie Vanhoozer to share her art and how the natural seasons God created influence her walk through the church seasons: "The art of living in season is an attentiveness, a way of perceiving God's artistry in creation through the seasons. It is about seizing opportunities to celebrate the extraordinary in life’s ordinary moments, one season at a time. It is about cultivating an ethnobotanical relationship in which people, plants and places all work together under God, in order to flourish “like a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in season, and its leaf does not wither.” Psalm 1:3

Sylvie is a retired French teacher, homeschooler and certified botanic artist. Her art and writing are inspired by places she has lived, which includes Provence, France, England, Scotland and now the Midwest. She has written two books: The Art of Living in Season and recently published The Art of Living in Advent. Her books will be available to purchase in the Atrium. You can learn more about Sylvie on her website HERE.

The evening begins with the Women's Event Team serving a light, delightful meal for guests, friends and family. A time of worship will prepare our hearts to receive the message from our speaker. To conclude, we'll enjoy a sweet treat as the evening draws to an end.

Cost: $15. To help with our planning, please register by October 15, if possible. Day of and walk-ins are always welcome. No childcare available.

The Women's Event Team needs volunteers in a variety of areas from women AND men the week leading up to the event. Sign up HERE to be a part of this event or the use the link in your registration confirmation email.
