Safe Families

Safe Families for Children partners with the local church to identify families that are trained and equipped to take children into their homes temporarily while their parents are working through a significant life challenge. These "Safe Families" keep those children short-term until they can once again be reunited with their parents. Safe Families for Children is rooted in faith, fueled by radical hospitality, disruptive generosity, and intentional compassion, to build a network of caring and compassionate volunteers to support families facing social isolation. Their goal is to support and strengthen families, prevent child abuse and neglect, and reduce the number of children unnecessarily entering the child welfare system.
