Safe Families

The Compass Church partners with Safe Families for Children, an organization that comes alongside hundreds of families each year in our surrounding counties. The goal of Safe Families is to support and strengthen families, prevent child abuse and neglect, and reduce the number of children unnecessarily entering the child welfare system. As a church, our goal is to invite families to consider becoming a Safe Families Host Home, Family Friend, or Resource Friend and become part of our community's overall support network for vulnerable families. 

Safe Families for Children is rooted in faith, fueled by radical hospitality, disruptive generosity, and intentional compassion, to build a network of caring and compassionate volunteers to support families facing social isolation. Their goal is to support and strengthen families, prevent child abuse and neglect, and reduce the number of children unnecessarily entering the child welfare system.
