Community Impact

South Naperville Campus

Reaching Our Neighbors Here

Community Impact at South Naperville Campus mobilizes our congregation toward a lifestyle of relational evangelism and caring for those in need. We see this demonstrated in the life of Jesus and believe that all Christians are to follow in His footsteps.

Our primary means of impacting our community include NEIGHBORING, COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIPS and LOVE YOUR NAPER (NEIGHBOR) EVENTS:
  • As followers of Jesus we are missionaries in our own neighborhood. Regardless of square footage or social status, we all have neighbors. And the proximity of those individuals allow us access to love and good deeds.
  • Need a way to make that first connection with someone who just moved in near you? Pick up a New Neighbor Bag filled with helpful resources and information. These pre-assembled goodie bags will help you break the ice with your new neighbor.
  • Have a neighbor in need? We have home cooked freezer meals ready to go. Stop by our atrium display and request one. Then go bless your neighbor…and pray for them too.
  • At various times throughout the year we offer initiatives to help our congregants live out PEARL – an acronym designed to build friendships and display hospitality for our neighbors.
  • Rather than create new ministries to help those underserved in our community, we connect with amazing organizations who are doing it better than we ever could. These include Caring Network, Our Children’s Homestead and Brookdale Elementary.
  • Our small groups serve multiple times a year with their community partner. We also have opportunities for individuals to get involved throughout the year. Three times a year our church collects items for one of our community partners.
