OUR SHARED GENEROSITY JOURNEY

More than 70 years ago, a small group of believers with bold faith gathered together, were willing to GO take God-honoring risks and thus The Compass Church was born. 



In the years since, we’ve continued to trust Him as He moves our hearts towards Helping People Find & Follow God. 



We believe God continues moving us as a church—perhaps now more than ever! We believe He is moving us all together to unleash our current campuses and ministries, moving us forward and outward to bring the good news of Jesus to people across our communities and the world.




This is an exciting season in our church as we accept God’s invitation to partner with Him in a way we’ve never done before. We pray that He will move in and through each person who calls Compass home, growing us in our discipleship journey of generosity while ultimately increasing His Kingdom.

Compass Church Family,


God has an amazing journey for us to take together! It’s time to embark on a discipleship initiative and capital campaign called Let’s Go. In the weeks ahead, God is going to expand our love for Him and His cause. Lord willing, we will see a movement of heroic generosity that will yield the transformation of thousands for decades to come!


Generosity has been a hallmark of The Compass Church for the entirety of our 73 year journey. The first groundswell of generosity brought about our Wheaton Campus facility back in 1954. After serving us for over seven decades, it’s time to transform our worn-out mother campus into an eye-popping facility that will be used to reach future generations for Christ.

In addition to the Wheaton construction, the generosity from the Let’s Go initiative will fund two years of record setting ministry across all six of our Campuses. By God’s grace, we believe this adventure will yield world-changing impact Here, Near and Far.

Together we will learn that Abraham packed up and hit the road when God called him to leave his comfort zone and embark on an adventure of unprecedented significance. Our church leadership has discerned that God is calling us on a faith-stretching journey as well. As we have throughout or church’s history, let’s respond to the Lord’s call in faith and cry, “Let’s Go!”

Our greatest desire is for 100% of our church family to experience a life-changing encounter with God through this Let’s Go generosity journey. This season will be marked by:

  • Biblical teaching that inspires and challenges us
  • Intentional prayer that aligns our hearts with God’s heart
  • Personal Bible study that deepens our faith
  • Shared stories of God’s faithfulness moving among us

Let’s Go Forward

Let’s Go Forward – $26 Million

This represents our anticipated ongoing operating budget for the next two years, ensuring that all of our Campuses, Staff and Ministries continue to thrive. These funds will support:

• Kids, Students, Adults, Care and Worship Ministries

• Financial and care assistance for those in need

• Advancing evangelism and discipleship across our church family and into our community


This includes $2.6 Million for taking the Gospel further through our investment in our Here, Near & Far ministries:

• CompassLocal – Impacting and serving more than 20 surrounding cities

• CompassNational – Strengthening churches and leaders for today and tomorrow, in our denomination and beyond

• CompassGlobal – Serving 50+ partners in 40+ countries for life change today and into eternity

Our Wheaton Campus, the original location of our church, has faithfully served our community for 70+ years and is now in urgent need of extensive reconstruction and improvements. This investment will create more accessible, functional and welcoming spaces that will expand ministry impact for the next 70+ years.
